FAMILY DEDICATION
Family Dedication is a ceremony where parents publicly commit to raising their child in a Christian faith, seeking God's guidance and support from the church community. It's a time for parents to express their desire to raise their child with Christian values and to ask for God's blessing and the church's support in that endeavor. This is typically for children Birth -2 years old, but feel free to reach out if you have any questions or different situations!

New Series: “Road Trip” Begins August 7th & 10th
Most families plan at least one big road trip every summer. It’s something to look forward to because it’s not just about the destination, it’s about who’s with you and what happens along the way.
Starting August 7th & 10th, we’re launching a new three-week series called Road Trip. It’s all about where we’re headed as a church and what it means to keep moving toward the mission Jesus gave us. Over these three weeks, we’ll look at the early church in the book of Acts and see what happens when people say yes to living “Life on Mission.”
This series is about more than sermons. It’s about momentum. It’s about reaching people who don’t know Jesus. And it’s about every one of us asking, “What’s my role in the story God is writing through this church?”
If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines, wondering where we’re going or if there’s more ahead, this is the perfect time to jump in.

We’re getting ready for an exciting Vacation Bible School, and we need your help to make the church look fun and inviting for all the kids!
Here’s the idea…
Pick a spot in the church to decorate with your life group, family, or friends. You can go all out or keep it simple. It’s totally up to you! Every bit of effort helps make a big difference.
Simple Camp Theme Ideas:
String lights and blankets to create a cozy corner
Signs that say “Welcome Campers!” or “Trail Ahead”
Fun props like fake trees, tents, or stuffed animals
Cardboard cabins, campfires (no real flames!), or paper animals

OCC National Collection Week
This year 1C Church is in charge of collecting all the boxes for the Jacksonville and surrounding areas boxes. We receive and then prepare to send them out to the distribution center on Monday, November 25th. Each evening, we will need volunteers to assist people who are dropping off their boxes and prep them for shipping. Here are the dates and times to volunteer.

This is our first ever 1C Church Operation Christmas Child Packing Party! Please come out on Saturday November 9th from 10AM – Noon and help us pack all the items we have collected over the past year and pray over the boxes we are sending out. We hope this party is a hit and will need people to help volunteer with helping direct people and helping them pack their boxes.
