At 1C Church, our passion is to live out the Great Commission by bringing the Gospel to our local community, our nation, and the world. To actively support this mission, we give 10% of all weekly offerings directly to outreach and global ministry efforts. Together, we’re not just going to church. We’re being the Church — on mission, every day.

MEET OUR MISSION PARTNERS

Founded in 1896, Salem4Youth Ranch has always been rooted in a Christ-centered mission. The King family generously dedicated this land to care for orphaned and struggling youth—meeting their physical, educational, and spiritual needs.

From the very beginning, the founders believed that if Christ remained at the center, the Ranch would always be able to serve well and faithfully care for the young lives entrusted to it.

Today, that same foundation guides everything we do.

Salem4Youth Ranch provides a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where young men ages 12–17 can learn life skills to thrive in everyday life. We care for each student holistically—physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually—with a strong emphasis on spiritual growth and maturity.

Our commitment to being Christ-centered is not just a value—it’s the heartbeat of our mission. Like Peter stepping out of the boat in Matthew 14, we know that if we take our eyes off Christ, we risk sinking. As staff, supporters, and board members, we remain focused on Jesus in everything we do.

If we ever lose sight of that central truth, we risk becoming ineffective and drifting from the purpose God gave us. That’s why keeping Christ at the center is—and always will be—essential to the life and legacy of Salem4Youth Ranch.

FAITH OF A CHILD

At Faith of a Child Ministries, we believe true change begins with faith in Jesus Christ. Our mission goes beyond the walls of the local church—we're called to share the love of Jesus and the hope of the gospel while meeting the real, everyday needs of people.

As a non-denominational ministry, we are currently focused on serving the people of Honduras, bringing practical help and spiritual hope to communities in need. But we’re just getting started.

As God continues to grow this ministry, we are preparing to expand into North, Central, and South America, offering even more mission opportunities to share Christ’s love across the nations.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, delivers hope and joy to children around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Each box is packed with fun toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, offering a tangible expression of God’s love to children in need.

For many, it’s the first gift they’ve ever received—and it opens the door to hear the Good News of Jesus.

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has delivered over 220 million shoeboxes to children in more than 170 countries and territories, making it the world’s largest Christmas outreach of its kind.

Join us in spreading joy and the message of Christ—ONE SHOEBOX AT A TIME

Orchard Group exists to connect gifted leaders with generous partners to plant churches in the heart of major cities. Their mission is simple yet powerful:
"We back church planters."

LIVING ALTERNATIVES

Living Alternatives is our local partner in supporting women and families facing unexpected pregnancies. As a faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, they provide compassionate care, practical support, and life-affirming alternatives to abortion—always free of charge.

Their mission is to walk alongside each individual with love, truth, and hope, offering services that empower women to make informed and confident decisions for their future.

JACKSONVILLE FOOD CENTER

The Jacksonville Community Food Center is a non-profit organization serving Morgan County and other area residents during an emergency or financial crisis.  The Food Center was established in 1981 and currently provides food to 400 families a month.  Clientele are offered a seven-day supply of food.  Bakery items and fresh vegetables (donated by local gardeners and grocery stores) are offered as available.  The food bank is a valuable resource to our community during these hard economic times.

BERACA FOUNDATION

In 2000, Ruben and Karen Popet founded the Beraca Foundation with a heart to bring hope and healing to the people of Jdioara, Romania—Ruben’s hometown. Starting with donated land, they built a home for 20 children, creating a loving orphanage rooted in Christ’s compassion.

Their ministry quickly expanded to meet other needs in the community. They launched a free medical clinic, began a small farm, offered English lessons, and helped plant a non-denominational church in the nearby town of Lugoj.

Since then, the Popets have continued to grow their outreach, launching new ways to serve not only Jdioara, but surrounding communities across Romania—meeting practical needs while sharing the hope of the gospel.

To bring hope, healing, and the love of Jesus to our city and the world.
