MOVE is a 5-day summer event designed for high school students to know Jesus better, deepen their relationships, and to be sent out to do Kingdom Work. Moments at MOVE change lives and could be the most important four days of your student’s calendar. CIY always provides amazing worship, inspiring speakers, and a concentrated time to spend with God and friends. There is just something special about getting out of our routines and into a new environment to really cause us to listen to God intently.
The theme this year is “The Rest Of Your Life”, and will deal with the question “What am I going to do for the rest of my life?". We will focus on the many burdens that teenagers carry with them daily: unfair expectations that are placed on us by others, the ones we place on ourselves, beauty standards, pressures to be the smartest/funniest/strongest, and whether we are measuring up. Carrying any or all of these can lead to feelings of being worthless, burnt out, and just plain tired and ready to give up. But Jesus tells us to “come to Him, all who are weary and burdened, and He will give us rest.”!
Initial deposits and all camp payments can be made online here OR in person with cash or check. Our church office hours are M-Th, 8:30am-4pm, or find one of our youth pastors on Thursday nights or Sunday mornings.
