OCTOBER 11th - NOVEMBER 22nd

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR!

Since 1993, over 209 million boys and girls in more than 170 countries and territories have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.

We will have Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes ready for pick up in the foyer Sunday October 11th. Our goal this year is to fill up 500 BOXES. This will include physical boxes packed and boxes put together online and donated.

Contact Heather Kleinschmidt at heather@1c.church if you are interested in helping this year!

November 22nd is the due date to have these boxes returned. This is a firm date as we are unable to store boxes brought after the 22nd.

BUILD A BOX ONLINE

When you Build a Shoebox Online, it provides believers in remote regions a creative way to share the Good News in a culturally sensitive manner. Online boxes are carefully prepared, abiding by strict customs regulations to safeguard partners who will deliver the gifts, as well as the boys and girls who receive them. Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19). Help fulfill the Great Commission and take the Gospel to the ends of the earth by building a shoebox online today!

DID YOU KNOW?

Each box has a $15 shipping and handling fee. If you feel lead to help but don’t have the time to do all the shopping and box packing. You are welcome to get involved by just GIVING and ensuring all the costs are covered to help ship these boxes across the world!
