MEET CASIE DARNELL
Casie Darnell (like “Casey at the Bat”) joined the 1C team in February 2020 as the Life Groups Pastor and now serves as our Teaching Pastor and Discipleship Pastor. Originally from New Lenox, Illinois, Casie graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2008. In 2013, she married her husband, Joe, and made the move to Jacksonville. Together, they have two fun-loving daughters, Camille and Mila.
Casie’s passion for Life Groups began after seeing firsthand how it made such a powerful difference in her own life and relationship with Christ.
“The decision to join a group was one of the best decisions of my life, and one I honestly made every excuse to avoid. My life was forever changed, and I pray this ministry continues to create spaces where others can experience the same kind of meaningful and life-giving relationships.”
When she’s not at 1C, Casie enjoys running, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
