EXPERIENCE RHYTHMS OF FAITH

Rooted is a 10 week discipleship experience designed to help you grow closer to God while building meaningful community. Whether you are exploring faith, ready to grow deeper, or looking for people to do life with, Rooted is a place to take your next step.

During the 10 weeks, you will learn foundational Christian beliefs, hear stories from the global church, and practice simple spiritual rhythms that carry into everyday life. Through daily devotionals, reflection questions, and prayer prompts, you will be equipped to spend intentional time with God.

Rooted is experienced in a group setting where weekly gatherings create space to share, learn from one another, and grow together. To get the most out of the experience and help foster strong community, participants are asked to commit to attending at least 8 of the 10 meetings.

Registration for the current Rooted session has ended. Complete the form below to be notified when registration opens for the Fall term.

WHAT IS ROOTED?
Rooted is a 10-week discipleship experience and a catalyst for life-change. Much more than a book resource, the Rooted experience provokes questions and conversations while having group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story in God’s story. Our Rooted groups are formed for those 18 years and older.
WHAT ARE THE DISCIPLESHIP RHYTHMS WE WILL BE LEARNING ABOUT AND ENGAGING IN?
Grounded in God’s word, the seven rhythms are the foundation of the Rooted experience. Each of these rhythms was practiced by the early church in Acts 2. The seven rhythms include:
  • Daily devotion (Acts 2:42,46)
  • Prayer (Acts 2:42)
  • Repentance (Acts 2:37-39)
  • Sacrificial generosity (Acts 2:44-45)
  • Serve the community (Acts 2:44-45)
  • Share your story (Acts 2:24-36)
  • Worship (Acts 2:26-28, 46-47)
HOW DO I REGISTER AND WHAT DOES IT COST?
You can register with your small group under your leader’s name or select the option to join a group. The $25 registration fee covers the whole 10-week experience and includes the Rooted curriculum book, multiple group experiences, and a graduation celebration where you will share a meal together! We do not want finances to deter you from your Rooted participation. Please reach out to our Life Group Pastor for assistance.
WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS FOR PARTICIPATING IN ROOTED?
For the best Rooted experience, we recommend not missing more than 2 weeks. The 10 weeks are a cumulative experience, and so we ask that every participant commit to honor each other by being at every meeting. If your schedule requires you to miss more than two, please consider joining us when the next Rooted session starts.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ROOTED AND LIFE GROUPS?
Rooted is the on-ramp to Life Groups. Attending Rooted will not only be catalytic to your journey personally, but prepare you and your group to have a shared foundation and vision for biblical community.
HOW DO YOU FORM GROUPS?
Our Life Group Pastor will prayerfully place participants into groups of about 10 to 15 people. Groups are formed based on age, marital status, and stage of life, with options for men, women, and married couples. Rooted groups are not co ed, except for groups made up of married couples.

A great deal of prayer and care goes into creating groups we believe will provide the best possible experience. We do our best to honor friend or leader requests when possible, though placements may occasionally vary based on registrations and availability.
IS CHILDCARE PROVIDED?
Yes, just like our Life Groups, the groups that meet on campus will have childcare provided for children from birth through fifth grade. This allows you to study and learn with peace of mind, knowing your kids are in great hands in a safe and caring environment.
