What’s coming up

Following the example of Jesus, we believe serving is a way of life, not just something we do. This fall we have four chances to live that out at Good Samaritan Inn in Decatur: October 3, November 7, November 12, and November 28. Two ways to help: PREP team (3 to 5 people, age 10 and up): helps prepare the meal from 9:00am to 11:00am. SERVE team (5 to 7 people, age 13 and up): serves the meal from 11:00am to 1:00am and should be ready to stand for about two hours. Volunteers will need to drive themselves to Decatur. To register, email [email protected] directly rather than signing up online. A short conversation ahead of time helps confirm things like transportation, standing for the full two hours, and the age requirements, so please expect a reply before your name is added to the list.

Legacy Builder Christmas Party! Wednesday, December 2nd at 11:30 a.m. Legacy Builders come and enjoy a wonderful Christmas lunch catered by Bella's Table (Autumne Willner) and then relax and enjoy the music from Mark & Pam Fisher after. A great way to kick off your Christmas Season!

Live Nativity Friday, December 11 · 6:00pm 2106 S. Main Street Jacksonville In a busy season, take a moment to step back and slow down. Join us for a Live Nativity as we tell the Christmas story through narration, with live animals and a living scene of the night Jesus was born. Bring the whole family and experience the wonder of Christmas together. Free and open to everyone.

Get ready to fill the church with Christmas joy! During our services on Thursday, December 17th and/or Sunday, December 20th, our children will take the stage to open and close our service with festive Christmas songs!
